series drift

The degree to which an avid viewer of a TV show, cartoon, or internet series notices a slight change in style or content over an extended period of time is called "series drift". Often times, series drift is responsible for the waning of the popularity of such a program. Occasionally, series drift can have a positive affect in attracting a larger audience. In cases when series drift has a strong negative affect, the producers of the program in question may resort to jumping the shark.
The Simpsons series drift was evident once it became clear that Family Guy was indeed funnier.

Series 7

The Series 7, or the "Registered Representative Series 7" is the national license required to be held by all investment professionals who are in the position of buying and/or selling stock, bonds, options, etc.

The test is given by FINRA, the Financial Industry's Regulatory Authority.

The Series-7 generally requires a minimum of 8 weeks of prep time, multiple existential crises, and sleepless nights filled with dreams about the stock market.

It requires intense level of memorization, specifically of acronyms, and sometimes results in calling loved ones by the wrong name.
"I love you, Cboe..."

'What did you just call me?"

"Chicago Board of Option Exchange... Sorry, Sarah... it won't happen after I'm done with the Series 7..."

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
