Forum Schizophrenia

for·um schizo·phre·nia, n.

An internet disorder caused by an individual who reads a significantly higher number of blog, forum or comment posts by many unique individuals, to the point of hearing voices in his head that do not correspond to his perceived train of thought.

The pathology behind this disorder is believed to reside behind the individuals 'mental voice' - the voice that speaks the words in an individual's mind as he reads - and the lack of a consistent train of thought due to the brevity and uniqueness of blog, forum and comment posts

i.e. each post has a different writing style, tone, train of thought, point of view, that continuing to read these posts, without a rest period to center one's thoughts, can lead to a lack of sense of self, and beginning to hear one's mental voice speak and think in ways that are foreign to the individual

The reason it is specifically an internet disorder, and not common schizophrenia, is probably due to the style of internet writing. i.e. if a person were to read a book, or magazine article, it's length and sense of closure at the end of the article allows an individual to regain their own train of thought.

Can be commonly found to coincide with Google Amnesia, and Hyperlink ADD

schizophrenic franklin

An African-American homeless man located in impoverished parts of large cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago who frequently gets into shouting matches with imaginary people. They are infamously known to be high on crack cocaine nearly every waking moment and when approached will most likely try to stab you with a rusty switchblade.
Hey, check out that crazy Schizophrenic Franklin on the side of the road over there! The dude's totally bat-shit insane!

Schizophrenic Pop

An unofficial sub-genre of pop only played by Twenty-One-Pilots.
Also known as "Schizoid Pop"

Friend: What the hell is that?
(Literally no one knows what it is). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Government Schizophrenia

Government Schizophrenia is caused when a government enforces and supports two completely different policies that are blatantly contradictory.
The United States has "Government Schizophrenia" when it comes to it's policies regarding cannabis prohibition. According to the government's Controlled Substances Act, cannabis has no medicinal value, and is deemed a schedule 1 narcotic. While on the other hand the government patents it's cannabinoids from cannabis, claiming they have medicinal value.

twitter schizophrenia

A new as yet undiagnosed mental health condition in which people look at their twitter trends and automatically assume that everything they see is the absolute g-d given truth
How to deal with your Twitter schizophrenia? Step 1) understand and learn the definition of infodemic. Step 2) understand that you may have a genetic predisposition to being negatively influenced by mass media step 3) do not ever call the shrink step 4 get off twitter, possibly for good.

A girl who does ballet and only talks about ballet. Her schedule is filled with dance classes which does not allow her to do any other activity.
"Hey, do you know that girl Sally?"

"Yeah, she's kind of annoying. All she ever talks about it ballet."

"Wow, what a Bunhead."

"Hey Sally, you want to hang out this weekend?"
"I can't, I have dance."
"You're such a Bunhead."

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
