Verb. To swoop In and replace another persons position , often with devious intentions.
It usually occurs when someone has put in a lot of effort to elevate themselves into a promising position with someone of the opposite sex, only to be replaced when they turn their back for 2 minutes.

To sneak over to a girl in a bar or club when the person who was chatting her up,is on a short term absence " smoking , toilet or at the bar". Schangling is an act of espionage carried out from a distance, carried out only at the right time.
