Arvydas Sabonis

One of the greatest and underrated basketball players in the history. If he would have had the chance to play in NBA when he was 16 (thats when he started playing in the USSR league!) he would be up there with Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson. Got into the NBA at a reasonably old age and yet still was one of the best centers there. His great list of talents include: extremelly good passing, excellent leadership, understanding the team etc.

In Russian language (slang) - a huge vodka bottle. Named after a great Lithuanian basketball player Arvydas Sabonis, who was 221 cm (7,25 ft.) tall.
Pronounced s-uh-b-oh-nees
