Gender increases frequency: female singer/male rapper. Some songs announce such interludes by having "featuring 'artist'" in the title. However they can often be sprung on an unsuspecting audience as a surprise.
Huh, I was expecting the chorus, but that S.O.R.I. came out of nowhere. Felt stupid when I kept singing.
