Any person of African or African American descent that is of a medium to light chocolate-red to a light Reddish brown skin tone.

A Red Bone is a light skinned black female. They are usually just a little bit darker than Yellow Bones( which are the lightest of black females and usually mixed with white, something silimar, or they are extra light due to having mixed race in their family tree) . No it has nuthin to do with being thick( as seen in some definitions) but is often used along with the word thick if a guy/person is discribing that body type as well

Redbone had various meanings starting back in the 1800s but most implied was a race mixture. The racial mix is usually referred to as Tri-racial or more and may be any combination of the following: Native American, European, Asians, or Portuguese, Spanish, Turk, and African sub-groups. Thus generating lighter skin.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
