Ralph Void

(noun)
Definition:
The mental and technical burnout that occurs when a project collapses under layers of unverified ai-generated code. It happens when developers repeatedly accept ai suggestions without understanding or validating the changes, creating cascading, unfixable tech debt until the system becomes incomprehensible.

Context:
This term was created as a stance against unverified AI generated code with unverified AI generated explanations, overwhelming the open source community and plauging open source maintainers. Also as an extended consequence of unchecked AI agent loops, such as Ralph Wiggum Loops.
"Our GitHub repo used to be clean, but after two months of AI pull requests, the Ralph Void took our team lead and they quite the project."
