engine found in the r32-r34 skyline series. the rb26dett was used in all GT-R models. RB signifies the engine series, D means DOHC, E means electronic fuel injection, and TT means twin turbo. this engine produces 280hp, and torque ranging from 260(r32) to 280(r34). some believe that these performance stats are a bit conservative due to the fact that GT-R skylines have been dynoed to corrected(power is corrected to show what the hp is at the crank instead of what it is at the wheels) hp values in between 300hp and 320hp. production of the RB engine series was ended in 2002 as a result of tighter emissions regulations. regardless of its fate, the RB26dett is considered one of the greatest engines of all times.
RB engines have been swapped into many other cars including, but not limited to the: nissan 240SX/200SX/180SX, the datsun 510, the nissan 240z, the infiniti g35, and the j-spec nissan silvia (s13-s15).

One of the legendary Nissan Sports engines produced. The RB26DETT was first seen in the Nissan R32 GTR Skyline.

like all of Nissan's engines the engine type (RB26DETT) determines the engines charateristics. In this case RB is an inline 6, 26 is a 2.6 litre and DETT each stand for (D)ual overhead cam (Commonly known as twincam), (E)lectronic fuel injection and (T)win (T)urbo.

another example is the much loved and well known SR series. These are inline 4 cylinder engines:

SR20 and variations
SR16 and it's variations
Read the above... i don't think i need one. And "A little" tuning WILL NOT get you 1000BHP. On average small, common and cheap mods and tuning get your roughly 500BHP. Something special will get you 800BHP and something completely unrealistically expensive and undrivable on road will get you 1000BHP at the FLYWHEEL.

for those of you who think you can get 1000BHP at the wheels:
1) have fun tuning the RB26DETT for methanol, because it won't put out that much on the best premium you can find.

2) Have fun trying to keep the inefficient TT system with power outputs like that.

3) Have fun replacing the hundreds of drivetrains you chew out.

4) Have fun buying new engines because you keep launching the number 2 piston through the side of the engine block and into orbit.

Twin-Turbo 2.6L inline-six cylinder engine produced for the Nissan Skyline in Japan.
With some modification, that RB26DETT could be doing close to 1000hp.

Nissan Syline GT-R engine. RB stands for race bred, DE stands for something that I don't know, TT stands for twin turbo. 2.6 liters, DOHC, 276 HP, although some people have dynoed stock GT-R's and gotten numbers in the 300 HP range.

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
