Pretty Girl Syndrome

When an atractive female thinks she is far more beautiful than all other women around her. Because of this she thinks she deserves to be treated superiorly, and makes demands on those around her. Her attitude is very centered on herself, but she suffers from very low self-esteem in actuality. Women suffering from pretty girl syndrome are often treated badly by the men they care about the most.

Pretty Girl Syndrome

A girl gifted with natural beauty. She quickly learns that her beauty makes it easy for her to get what she wants. She is popular and can attract the most desirable mates. She is often treated as special because of her looks, given special treatment and consideration in many areas. She eventually comes to the conclusion that she is special and deserves what she gets. Eventually, she finds a handsome, wealthy and powerful man that is "deserving" of her beauty. However, over time, her beauty fades. She finds that life becomes more difficult. She doesn't automatically get the things she wants. She finds that her handsome, rich and powerful husband, who has only gotten more attractive with age is sleeping with his secretary or some other beautiful woman that has the beauty she once had. This leads to divorce and the realization that she has no redeeming qualities now that her beauty has faded. Never having needed to work on developing herself as a person, she finds herself unable to cope in a world where she is no longer special based on her looks. Bitterness, depression, substance abuse and sometimes suicide results. This is pretty girl syndrome.
"Since her divorce, Jane has been drinking heavily, partying and sleeping with anyone that will pay attention to her. She is also struggling with depression. I can't believe it. She was so beautiful and had everything. Now she is a train wreck."
"Jane has pretty girl syndrome. That's what happens."

Pretty Girl Syndrome

when a girl is so attractive that she's used to getting attention from guys all the time. It causes her to never understand or appreciate genuine interaction with men and she finds herself surrounded by people who don't actually care about her. Meanwhile goodhearted men watch from a distance just wishing they had the opportunity to treat her right if only she just gave them the chance.
Mitch: I don't understand why Sydney is dating that asshole. She's so beautiful, she could get anyone she wanted
Aaron: She doesn't even realize it but she's got pretty girl syndrome
Mitch: I'll go tell her she's ugly!

Pretty Girl Syndrome

When a girl doesn't know she's pretty but is actually really pretty. Usually Pakistani.
That girl has pretty girl syndrome, she don't even know it.
The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."

Hair spider

A tight, tangled knot of loose hair and lint that forms inside clothing during the clothes dryer cycle. It typically hides inside garments, causing an annoying lump or a phantom tickling sensation against the skin until it is found or falls out onto the floor during folding.
