Polyfit 

A Matlab function for deriving how well polly fits.

In the case of a bad approximation, the function will return polyshit.

In the case of an accurate approximation, Polly will be found with a beard on a unicycle drinking a beer.

Polybit gender 

Combines poly (from the Greek polus "much" and polloi "many") with bit (binary digit).

An alternative to the term non-binary gender which acknowledges that it is possible to count above two in binary so long as you use two or more bits. For instance with 2 bits you get 4 genders, 3 bits 8 genders, and 32 bits you get 4,294,967,296 genders. In general, with n bits there are two to the power of n possible genders.

Xiu is a computer security specialist working in binary code analysis. They are polybit gender.

polyfi 

Short for polyfidelity. Can be used as a noun for the practice or concept, or more often as an adjective to describe someone who practices/prefers polyfidelity.

"I'm not really comfortable with regular polyamory, I'm more into polyfi."

"We're poly, but it's not an open network; We're polyfi."

polyvitro 

A type of plastic used by artist Dale Chihuly for some of his works requiring less weight.

The yellow sculpture at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens is made of polyvitro, not glass as it appears.

PolyFidelity

A relationship structure of 3 or more individuals who have no sexual or loving connections outside the group. This group may be open or closed to new additions, but there is no sexual or loving connections with the new addition until added.

PolyFidelity is a subset of PolyAmory. The Kerista commune of San Francisco used the term extensively in the early 1980's and may have used it from their inception.

polyfidelity

A group in which all partners are primary to all other partners and sexual fidelity is to the group. More primary partners can be added with the entire group's consent. Coined by the Kerista Commune.

The polyfidelity group in which everyone is equal and will decide to allow a new member together.
