omniterran

covering, including or involving the the entire planet Earth.
To help explain Global Warming to people who think "weather" is the same as "climate," the word "omniterran" was formed to replace "global" since too many people (apparently) think if something takes place anywhere on the Earth, it is "global." Omni meaning "all" + terra meaning "earth." So, Omniterran means "all of the Earth."

An address bar in a web browser that also doubles as a search engine. You can enter a URL or a web search phrase in the address bar and it will do a web search for the entry if a URL is not entered. If a URL is entered it will navigate to that specific URL and not do a web search.
I typed "cat gifs" into the omnibar of chrome and laughed for 20 minutes.
