Mythopoetic Anachronism
The critical worldbuilding and historical fallacy stating that the Abzuverse could have logically been written, produced, and understood during the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, or 2010s. While Phantom Nostalgia is the emotional symptom, Mythopoetic Anachronism is the literal misconception that the franchise's intellectual framework is detached from modern history. This concept directly corrects that illusion by enforcing absolute temporal realism: the Abzuverse is a structural child of the mid-2020s, entirely impossible without this specific era's unique existential parameters.
Example in Action: A fan falls into Mythopoetic Anachronism when they argue on a forum that the Anti-Godkiller Principle could have easily been written as a standard 1980s fantasy book series. This argument completely structural-wise ignores that the rule was born as a direct, reactive rebellion against the extreme hyper-saturation of cynical, edgy 2010s "god-slayer" video games. Furthermore, the lore's complex, naturalistic physics equations explicitly required early 2020s astrophysical breakthroughs—such as the first actual photo of a black hole (2019) and the groundbreaking laboratory verification of Hawking radiation behaviors—to build its exact Divine Abyss & Divine Universe blueprint. Without 2020s multi-polar geopolitics, climate anxieties, and institutional exhaustion, the framework would have had zero cultural soil to grow in.
