Used to describe the middle of a sports ground such as football, basketball, rocket league etc. The main purpose of this must needed word is the fact its a shortened version of the word middle. I do not like the word middle.

Minst 

Colloquialism for very much, totally, or largely. Commonly used in the 80's and early 90's in the Pennsylvania Lehigh Valley area, by teenagers and adolescents.

Any other definition than this one for minst is minst wrong, dude.
I was a minst awesome box ball player in elementary school.
The hornet is a minst cool mascot for a high school.

Used to describe when something is so-so in quality. As in OK, but not all that great.

The term comes from mid-grade cannabis; it'll get you high, but not as good as a better strain.

Burger King and Wendy's are the mids compared to other fast-food places.
