Mather's Day

the holiday celebrated on both Mother's and Father's Day by those single parents that have no actual children but only pets.

Permissible celebrations include cooking your favorite meal and feeding your pet from the table while you eat, forcing your pet to sit on the couch to watch a movie with you and buying yourself a gift, wrapping it and then opening it while you act surprised and thank your pet for the thoughtful gift.
Me and my dog sat and watched movies all day to celebrate Mather's Day this year. I'm preparing myself for when I actually have a child and we can celebrate Father's Day together.

Your Mother's Crib

A reference to the residential area belonging to one's mother used in a disrespectful manner. Often used to dismiss an arbitrary question resulting in frustration and embarrassment by the inquiring party.
Brian: What is the answer to number 12?
Jake: Your mother's crib. Got em

clean as your mother's reputation

Basically, this term means that you can't get something any cleaner (or purer) than it is. It's also meant as a compliment by saying that somebody's mother is not a skanky whore or streetwalker. This term appeared in the young adult edition of the novel adaptation of the 1979 sci-fi thriller"Alien".
George the janitor tidied up the restroom so well it's not simply spic and span, it's as clean as your mother's reputation.

Scotchy Mother's Wheelchair

The vehicle used by Pork Schotch's mother who is even more Scotchy than The Porky Scotcher himself. Goofy Granny and Scotchman Porky Workie take the old bag out in the chair which is normally kept in the half car but was taken out for comical photographs.
Mickus: The Scotchers just left in the half car, lets take some photos in the Scotchy Mother's Wheelchair.

Monkus: Ok. I'd love to meet the old hag, I hear it's even more scotchy than Fishy MacSwell.

Mickus: Really? Must be very Scotchy then!

mother's intuition

An immediate unreasoned understanding that a mother has toward something regarding the well being of her child.
Jane didn't want her son Billy to go to the party. Her "mother's intuition" sensed something bad was going to happen.

Those are my mother's books!

As seen in the movie Casino:

1. A poorly-crafted attempt to divert suspicion, despite obvious guilt.

2. Attempting to flee a bad situation with an ill-conceived method of escape.
"Little Craps figures--very nice, thank you very much, Mr. Piscano..."
"Those are my mother's books!"

Step on a crack, break your mother's back

This is an old children's game, anyone who trod on the cracks between the paving stones was out, until only one player was left, he or she was then declared the winner.
Step on a crack, break your mother's back– Most of us know the old rhyme “Step on a crack, break your mother’s back.” Whether the rhyme is the cause of, or a result of, this superstition is uncertain, though belief in it persists in many people today, even if subconsciously. Come to think of it, avoiding sidewalk cracks is probably a good policy for anyone who wants to avoid tripping.
