Light-skinded
A fair skinned African American. May be fair skinned secondary to previous generations of european descent. Fair skinned appearance may also be a result of non-african parentage.
Often, at birth, African American children may appear 'light-skinded' but darken up after days to weeks after birth evoking accusations such as "That ain't my baby!" and "You slept with a white man!"

a black girl who is either mixed or just naturally has ligher skin than most black people.
Light skinned girls, because of their high desirability, often talk to many guys at once flirting and leading all of them on without ever actual putting out. Light skinned girls are also extremely bad at answering phone calls, responding to text messages, or following through with plans. Another trait of a light skinned girl is a constantly vibrating phone from the constant stream of messages, tweets, likes, shares, follows, retweets, and favorited pictures. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
