Any amount of prison time which totals more than 2/3 of an offenders life, but is not continous.
"Yea, this dirtbag has been in and out of prison since he was 13 and he's getting locked up again for 10 years now. Serving that life sentence on an installment plan like lay-away life sentence bro!"
