Kristoph Gavin, also called the « Coolest defense in the west » or the Devil, is the main antagonist of the game Ace Attorney : Apollo Justice. He was Apollo’s mentor for a while until he was arrested and sent to prison for the murder of Shadi Smith and Drew Misham. He has a brother named Klavier who also is the prosecutor of the game. He owns a dog named Vongole as well, whom he describes to being « cute but feisty ».
Kristoph Gavin acts relatively calm and gentlemanly most of the times, but is later revealed to be ruthless, jealous, and lacking empathy. He is believed to hold a dark secret hidden deep in his heart, which is implied by the black psyche-locks that appear when he is asked about his motive for murder.
