Jones Effect

When your favorite restaurant is closed on certain days or at a certain time and your craving for it becomes stronger during those periods.
I usually feel the Jones Effect on Sunday because Paseo is closed and I cannot get my Midnight Pork sandwich.

Jones Effect

The Jones Effect is when someone who was once well know or famous rapidly loses fame due to change in higher authority. It is derived from when Agent Jones what mostly cut out of the Fortnite story when Charlie Wen replaced Donald Mustard as Chief Creative Director at Epic Games.
The Jones Effect is hitting many celebrities hard.

Jones Effect

When you have weird benefits or events happen to you while in public. Being given free accommodations and or favors for simply existing. Having strangers tell you their life stories even when you don't respond.

Just the most mundane and unexplainable situations happening to you.
1: You won't believe what happened when I went to McDonald's.
2: What did they give you a free drink.
1: If only that someone messed up their order and gave me there whole meal for free.
2: You and your lucky Jones Effect, you always get free stuff and I always have to pay whenever I go out.
~~~
1: DUDE! It happened again!
2: What did?
1: The Jones Effect, I was just at the bus stop with my headphones on and this person, who was already there, just started talking out loud and then to me.
2: Maybe they're just crazy...
1: No because they kept looking at me looking for my input.
The Martha Jones Effect
The misdirected rage generated by fans of a particular character when that character is killed off or replaced by someone else. Often the rage prevents them from giving a fair opinion of the new character. Originates from the BBC series Doctor Who, when fan favorite Rose Tyler was replaced with Martha Jones.
Example #1
“I hate Martha Jones so much!”
“Why?”
“Because she isn’t Rose Tyler!”
Example #2
“I hate Clara Oswin Oswald!”
“Why?”
“Because she isn’t Rory and Amy!”
“That’s the Martha Jones effect.”
Jim Jones Effect
Just like Jim Jones, Donald Trump has the power to do anything legal or illegal and his supporters will continue to back him up regardless of any consequences they may face just to protect their leader.
Bro, Donald Trump has that damn Jim Jones Effect on your brother, dude he’s brainwashed.
