instafooled

The term used when your Instagram crush doesn't look like his/her picture in real life. The frequent use of filters and deceptive angles may cause you to believe they're a certified 10 on the scale, but in real life, the way the light hits their face doesn't do them any justice.

When a person, usually female, uses instagram to post pictures of themselves. These pictures are usually doctored to the point where the person is unrecognizable. These pictures are so butchered that unattractive people look semi-decently good-looking. The beer goggles of the Internet.
