A decent middle school located in Auburndale, Queens. In fact, it's the only middle school serving grades 6-8 located IN Auburndale. School is pretty fucking overcrowded. The school isn't very known and is kinda underrated. During the change of classes, the halls always get filled and some kids usually go to the wrong side of the hall, which then makes it worse. Has some bad teachers but also some very good ones. The workload isn't very much and it usually isn't hard either (varies on the teacher for difficulty). Most of the time, classes will be boring but the kids in your class will usually make up for it.
Now for the kids:
Most of them are chill but, there are some dickheads out there. According to some of my friends, there is drug usage but for me, I haven't seen any drug usage. Overall, most of the kids at the school are pretty nice and you'll find any friend group out there. (TIP: Meet and make more friends outside of your class. Do that during lunch period btw.)
Another problem is that the windowless classrooms suck. If you're outside during recess, getting all sweaty and shit, you're going to end up sweating even more when you get in a windowless classroom.
Overall, if the school has gotten more funding and also a new building (the building was built in 1969 which is also the school's founding), it could truly be one of the best schools out there. But for now, it's a pretty decent school and people shouldn't worry about going to this school.
