Hypocelebit

Pronounced: hy-po-sell-uh-bit Plural: Hypocelebits
Definition: A celebrity who constantly talks about how horrible, poor, or difficult their childhood was when, in reality, they grew up relatively comfortable, privileged, or had opportunities that most people could only dream of.
Basically, a celebrity version of a hypocrite who turns a normal or privileged childhood into a “rags-to-riches” story for sympathy, publicity, or to make themselves look more self-made than they actually were.

“Bro grew up in a mansion with private schools and famous parents, but now he's acting like he grew up in a cardboard box. What a Hypocelebit.”
