A person who overuses gestures in Second Life. Usually about audio gestures, but can apply to excessive text art, or indeed any brainless spamming of chat.

Joe: Hooooo!
Joe: Hooooo!
Joe: Hooooo!
Mitzy: Stop being such a hootard.

When someone is so dumb they would even be considered a retard in Whoville.

"Oh my god, Christie, that apple is SO green and shiny!"
"Damnit, Billy, you're such a hootard."
