Hepl 

Verb. To act with the intention of helping, but end up not being helpful at all—or actually making things worse. Originates from someone making a typo for “helping” as “hepling,” which led to the creation of “hepl” as a tongue-in-cheek term for well-meaning fails.

Example: “I tried to fix her computer, but I just hepled and now nothing works.”

The Hamburger Hepler Effect occurs because of the desire by large media companies to pander to every possible demographic in order to boost sales of their terrible products so that they can claim market success even on the backs of total artistic failure.
