The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

1.The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is the first Japanese light novel in the Haruhi Suzumiya series written by Japanese author Nagaru Tanigawa and illustrated by Japanese artist Noizi Ito. It received immense popularity in Japan, and following the production of the animu, it extended its reach toward Western audiences. The characters are known for their distinct personalities. Haruhi Suzumiya is a yandere given the powers of God, Kyon repeatedly slaps himself in the face, Koizumi Itsuki makes faggot smiles at Kyon, Yuki Nagato reads books and slaughters aliens in her spare time, and Mikuru Asahina - the shining star of the series - has set the precedent for moe characters in much of Japanese media following the airing of the animu.

Person 2: What?! Give me that AK-47 over there, I'm gonna fuck him up.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

A Japanese Manga (comic book) and Anime series that many white American children pretend to love in order to project their fake-japanese (Wapanese) image. An otaku (Japanese term for geek) in an anime series called Lucky Star was a huge fan of Haruhi Suzumiya, and so every Wapanese feels like they have to be, too.

It is actually one of the most boring, slow and inane series ever, and it is likely to put you to sleep.
Wapanese: "Did you see that? That was just like that part in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! Sugoi!"

Normal American: "Which part?"

Wapanese: "If you don't know, you're just a baka!"

Normal American: "You've never actually seen Haruhi, have you?"

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Worst fucking series ever. It's not entertaining in any way and has annoying as hell voice acting. This series, for whatever the fuck reason, became extremely popular and has an enormous fanbase. The saddest and most pathetic thing about this series is that it tires VERY VERY HARD to make you laugh, and it falls flat on it's ass and fails. Of course all the wapanese and Otakus will argue that this series is "unique" or "original", and I’ll give them that, but keep in mind, being those things doesn't mean it's any GOOD! Fuck this series.
Wapanese kid: ZOMGZ! Dis iS FUUUNY!!

Otaku kid: I KNOWZ!!!11 I LOLLED WEHN DA THING KNOWZ IT'S A FILM AND MAKES FUN OF ITSELF!!!!111

Me: What the hell you two!? This shit isn't funny at all it's just pathetic and stupid. Whatever you guys watch this shit, I’m gonna go watch Hot Fuzz.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya blows ass.

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
