harmonic hypnosis

Psychological effect that results from listening to the same piece of audio for a long period of time. Small changes in pitch and inflection become unnoticeable, which creates the auditory illusion that the sound is near perfect or flawless in pitch. This effect is extremely common in sound engineering and music production.
