A measurement of instructions per second. Usually used for talking about CPU clockspeed.

An i5-3470 has a clockspeed of 3.2 gigahertz (GHz) which means it can execute 3.2 billion instructions per second

Gigabertz

gi-ga-bertz; noun, plural -bertz, -bertz·es.

A term used by technophobes & ignoramuses when mocking informed individuals or professionals in any field that requires the normal use of Gigahertz.

Dom impersonated Tom whilst he explained to Laurie as to why his computer wasn't running at the right speed...
