Gasplaining

A male character in a movie telling a female character to calm down because she merely stated a concern or opinion, but the tone and delivery is as if she's raising her voice, weeping and screaming. The term is a portmanteau of "mansplaining" and "gaslighting". It was originally coined in the "screenwriting" subreddit as a description for one type of bad screenwriting.

When the man in that movie was telling the female protagonist to just calm the f*** down simply because she pointed out that he shouldn't light up a cigarette in a room full of high explosives, he was clearly gasplaining her.

Giosplaining

When you explain a meme, thus removing any and all elements of humor from said joke

Ethan: I dont get why these moth memes are considered funny
Gio: You see, the moth memes are funny because the moth likes light. So, therefore, any allusions to a light source arouse the moths. XD

Clarifying the difference between semi-automatic and fully automatic is gunsplaining.

Godsplaining

To attribute divine significance to something, usually in a forced manner

Random lady: These flowers start blooming during the Pentacostal period once a year. Before bloom, it looks like praying saints, after bloom it looks like a flying dove. How amazing is God's creation!

Friend: Are they godsplaining nature? The flowers bloom when the light, temperature, and climate conditions are right.

When you are super *fabulous* and you simply *must* share your opinion with others, whether they ask for it or not.

Glamsplaining can be humorous, snarky, or even cruel, but it tends to be brutally honest.

A: Oh. My God. You *cannot* wear those shoes with that outfit!
B: Geez! Stop glamsplaining me!

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is a reality show built on glamsplaining.

When one gay person begins to explain something pertaining to the gay community, via mansplaining method, and the recipient is well aware the topic they are trying to explain.

Scott and I were out the other night and met this guy at a bar who was gaysplaining to us about gender identity.
