G.B.E.L.

Georgetown Basic Educated Lady, colloquially used in the DMV regarding the average, unhappy, highly educated professional young women who tend to glamorize narcissism and putting down others based on their education level, or for being men. GBELs, "g-belle's" don't necessarily have to have graduated from Georgetown, but more often than not they wave their degrees in the faces of others during dates or networking opportunities. Generally shameless and lacking accountability and the ability to apologize, GBELs aren't always misandrists but you can count on their reliance on Starbucks and worship of Taylor Swift.
