GAFFE is an acronym for - Greenwashing Attempt For Fundraising Efforts. There is now a prevalent effort for NGO’s and other nonprofit organizations to raise money based on fears that have little or no scientific evidence to support there causes. However, these organizations will shamelessly propagate misinformation to create fear, sympathy and anger to promote their causes in an effort to raise money for themselves.

Did you see that NGO showing a picture of a turtle with a plastic bag around it’s neck? When confronted, they admitted to the BBC that it was a photoshopped image and the BBC retracted the story when this was found out.. just another example of a G.A.F.F.E. that is being used in media and on-line

G.A.F. Meter

The GAF or "Give A Fuck" Meter is a general scale used to gauge one's overall interest/productivity/willingness to engage in an activity or function. Although routinely applied to work or employment situations, the GAF Meter concept can be used almost universally. Workplace observations have shown GAF Meter readings dramatically dip as proximity to the "weekend" decreases.

"Man, Friday afternoon, and my G.A.F. Meter is running critically low"

Person 1: "Pegged high on the G.A.F. Meter...trying to save the world today"
Person 2: "Stay hydrated. Don't want to pull a hammy"

short for " i don't give a fuck" which is a very contagious disease causing massive amounts of random anger induced outbursts, spontaneous lack of interest in just about everything, increased will to start and or instigate fights with no clear motive. WARNING: MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF BOREDOM WILL TRIGGER THE I.D.G.A.F
