Cross between X-Factor, Idols and Britain's got Talent A Fidlent is a person that is in these shows (or any other talent-show) but has no clue that he/she is a talentless wanker.

A person that thinks he/she can sing but has no talent WHAT SO EVER.

Fopulent 

Fake-opulence.

When someone wants to have a showy house or apartment or car or whatever, and can't afford to buy high quality items to fill it with, so they get cheap chintzy items and pass them off as the real deal. A home full of sculptures that when you pick them up they're all hollow plastic is a good example. A painting that looks like it is an original, that when you look closely at it you see it is just printed and not actually painted...that is fopulent. Pleather is the essence of fopulence.
