filotimo 

Filotimo (or Philotimo) is best understood as ones responsibility to himself as a human being to always act in accordance with righteousness and honor. Even if ones wealth, safety, freedom, or even life is at peril, one that lives by this virtue will always choose to do the right and honorable regardless of consequence. The idea of filotimo goes beyond the idea that one needs no motive to act in good faith and for a good cause, and suggests that for a sentient being, right and honorable actions should be the only acceptable behavior. It therefore requires a universal (or at least well-established) sense of morality, and a "golden standard" of behavior, which must be reached by all means possible, and by any sacrifice necessary. This term unique to the Greek language may apply to individuals, groups, or even Greek society as a whole, and may refer to any kind of action or behavior. Filotimo is often seen as the "prime vitrue". It comes from the words φίλος = friend and τιμή = honor.

Benevolent is the man who acts by filotimo alone.

Flipoppositify 

a mathematical word created by Mr. Kleine that describes when you start with an inequality as written, then flip the inequality symbol and change the sign of the number opposite to the variable to either positive or negative.

Filophile 

A Filophile is a person who is fond of Philippine culture, Philippine languages, the Filipino people, and/or the Philippines in general.

Another term for this is Filipinophile, but it's too long and unwieldy.
Tagalophile is also an acceptable term, but might trigger Sugbuanon fanatics.

"I love the Philippines so much that it needs a term of its own. I now declare myself a Filophile."

The Halo effect is well known. We associate beautiful (tall, slim, good face, youthful hair, healthy youthful skin, etc) people with good qualities, such as confidence, fitness, charisma, less likely to commit crimes, more giving, better parents, more skillful, etc. We are more likely to remember a beautiful face. And when we do, we will be more likely to remember positive things about it.

We tend not to associate any qualities (as strongly) with average looking people - as most people are average looking. Looks are on a bell curve: very few people are really ugly, very few are really attractive - most hover around "average". We tend to be more neutral towards average looking people. We find them forgettable.

However, in contrast to the Halo effect, I coined the term "the FAILO effect". If you see an ugly man, who's short, balding, wrinkled skin, fat, and wearing thick glasses, you associate his ugly looks with negative qualities such as low self esteem, unfitness, no charisma, more likely to be a criminal, etc. You are more likely to remember the ugliest person you've ever seen than an average looking person. And along with that, you will most likely remember negative things about that person.

Brad Pitt walks up to a slim, young, beautiful woman and asks her out on a date:
Her: "Omigod, yes. What are you doing now? Wanna go somewhere?"
Him: "I be halo-effecting women on the daily, yo".

Danny DeVito walks up to a slim, young, beautiful woman and asks her out on a date:
Her: "Eew, creepy. Go away, you bald manlet".

Him: "I just can't get away from that Failo Effect."

Filomena 

Usually dark hair from italian decent. A Very beautiful girl, with a warm and loving heart, an amazing personality and you will be lucky to encounter a Filomena in your lifetime. Most Filomena's have pretty brown eyes that you can get lost in. With a smile as warm as the august sun. But be careful, to much aggressiveness on your part may push one away. A Filomena is usually shy and hides her emotions. She makes a great lover and an awesome friend. And if you are lucky enough to have a Filomena in your life then you best treat her with some respect and treat her like a the lady she is! Usually a Hard working girl; with sexy lips that you want to kiss! But dont want to scare a Filomena away! because coming across a Filomena is a rare yet beautiful thing. A Filomena is always a good time; and down for an adventure whenever there is an opportunity for one!

Don't play no games with a Filomena, they know what they want and don't take no shit from you fellas. A strong independent women. NOW next time a Filomena walks in your life, treat her with some respect and be thankful.
