The same, but different.

When an underlying process or mechanism results in different outcomes.
E.g. if Person A has an opinion, and Person B has a completely different opinion. Once you analyse the root cause of why they both have those opinions, you realise that they're using the exact same type of logic and thought processing to get to those opinions. They're doing the same thing, but different.

Instead of calling someone out with a long explanation, one would simply call it out as "Fidmas"
