fauxpulence 

Fake opulence. Referring to shoddy , inferior architecture, interior design in an feeble attempt to recreate a classic palatial esthetic. Often practiced by nouveau riche, and Russian oligarchs.

eg. The entire Vegas strip is an exercise in "fauxpulence".
