To tailgate a road train (long transport truck) in outback Australia so if stray fauna (kangaroo, camel, cow, emu, brumby etc) run or hop onto the road, the road train is big enough that it will barrel through them and knock them to the side of the road. You stay in the truck’s slipstream and avoid colliding with animals which would get you, the animal, and your car all messed up.
