A fractal acronym or “fractronym” is a modern vulgarity where an acronym is nested within another acronym. For instance a “PSOP” where the “SOP” stands for Standard Operating Procedure and the “P” stands for “PROMS” which are “Patient Rated Outcome Measures”.
