Someone (mostly people in Anonymous) that seeks fame and the spotlight to feed their pathetic ego and/or fill their empty pockets. A famefag often tells some type of smockery to get that fame. The Dragons Den is one of the most obvious examples of famefags on Twitter.

Danielle Hutton is such a famefag.

Lowlife FameFag

A Lowlife FameFag is a type of person that thinks they're a better person ever all because they have more followers than you on any social media just to assert their dominance. They'll mostly be found lingering on the internet.

Person: "Hey how are y-"
Lowlife FameFag: "HOW MANY FOLLOWERS DO YOU HAVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA?"
Person: "I have like, I think 12."
Lowlife FameFag: "OH WELL I HAVE 13 SO IM WAY MORE FAMOUS THAN YOU"
Person: "I don't care about how many followers I have on social media. It's just the interne-"
Lowlife FameFag: "I'M A BETTER PERSON THAT YOU ADMIT THAT!"
Person: "Wow. You're such a Lowlife FameFag."

Members of Anonymous whose reason for being in the group is to get them or a slacktivist opetation they are linked to mentioned in the press so as they can brag to others that they or something they're linked to was mentioned in the press.

I should have known that members of Anonymous is a famefagtivist as most of them are!
