A play on the term fansite.

A fawnsite is a fan-made website that only gushes praise and worship towards the object of the fandom, and is never critical or objective in their covering of the object, it's creators, or any aspects of the object.

Not to be confused with a website about deer.

I prefer to go to fan sites which present balanced views on the subject, not fawnsites.
