The legendary grade of myth given by teachers to those students demonstrating a level of suck beyond imaginable. Acquiring an F minus for a grade is such a feat beyond the norm that this student must be beyond hope.
Such a feat as acquiring an F- is not an easy gain, and the everyday slacker will just not do. To obtain such a legendary grade upon your classroom input, one must work hard and put in thousands upon thousands of samples of ignorance while simultaneously putting in time unworthy of class participation points such as the classic "A for effort".
In most cases, this grade is so beyond fail that it equals win.

-f is used as a non-professional shorthand form of the word fuck. of fucking. It does not generally refer to the sexual act. Instead, this is simply a written profanity; one which by its short nature is less obtrusive and does not leap out of the texture as does the actual word fuck

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
