Language containing an excessive amount of engineering terminology or of technical jargon. Usually packed with abbreviations and acronyms that only other insiders could know. Although typically employed by Engineers, it can be used by IT professionals, cable installers, auto mechanics or anyone else attempting to sound smarter than they really are.
The cable guy tried to sell us a new converter box with his best enginese. He said something about the thingamajig feeding back through the whatchamabob and causing distortion in the dojimahickey.
