Drum Dive

A ‘technique’ where a band's drummer or another member of the band intentionally physically jumps or falls into the drum kit at the end of a show. The jump is often compared to the action of jumping into a bed.

The term is most famously associated with The Who's drummer, Keith Moon, who would have bandmates dive onto his drum kit. More recently, Emily Armstrong (formerly the singer of Dead Sara and currently the co-lead vocalist for Linkin Park) was known for performing this antic on stage at the end of her shows with Dead Sara.
Person 1: I’ve been watching some of Emily’s Dead Sara shows after she joined Linkin Park. She just keeps doing drum dives!
