Otherwise unnecessary verbiage added in order to confuse the listener, such as using a double negative to make a statement mean the opposite of what it would otherwise mean. See also, doublespeak.

when two friends are one the phone with each other and one posts a new status and the other one comments while they are on the phone together. They know what each other is going to comment before they comment.

A double talker is one who duplicates certain words of a sentence usually to emphasize some importance when actually it just makes them sound like a broken record.
