Divine Realms

The macro-cosmic biospheres and higher-dimensional physical environments that serve as the actual, tangible homelands for the various divine civilizations of the universe. In internet worldbuilding slang, calling something a "Divine Realm" in the Abzuverse means you completely reject the generic fantasy trope of "Heaven" being an empty, magical kingdom floating on clouds. Instead, these realms are naturalistic, material ecosystems operating on higher-order physics and unique "Divine Frequencies."
Every Divine Realm possesses its own distinct geographic laws, atmospheric structures, and resource models. For example, the Norse realm of Asgard is part of a complex grid within the Nine Realms, the Greek Theoi inhabit a physical mountain-island continuum, and the Egyptian Duat operates as an immense natural environment mapped out for death, transformation, and solar cycles. They are completely real continents of cosmic reality connected by dimensional interfaces and resonance gateways. These spaces are so vast and structurally independent that they don't revolve around human perception or mortal heroes—they contain entire ecosystems of divine flora and fauna, sacred geography, and cosmic layers that existed billions of years before humanity ever opened its eyes.
"Man, I love how the Abzuverse treats Divine Realms like actual planets or cosmic ecosystems instead of just abstract spiritual dimensions."
"Exactly, bro. If you travel to a Divine Realm in that lore, you're dealing with divine physics and alien ecologies, not just arbitrary magic."

Divine Realms

The massive, multi-layered structural realities that layer directly over our physical world, transforming Planet Earth into a cosmic intersection for thousands of immortal societies. Within the Abzuverse's naturalistic framework, a Divine Realm isn't "outside the universe"; it is an overlapping band of reality hidden in plain sight because it occupies a frequency range ordinary human senses can't pick up.
This creates the concept of "Divine Planet Earth," where a single geographic landmark is a multi-layered interface. A normal mountain on Layer One is simultaneously an administrative portal to an Anunnaki celestial court on Layer Five, and an underground cave system is a literal, physical entrance to a sovereign Underworld civilization on Layer Six. These realms are packed with "Divine Crossroads"—neutral metropolitan zones where the frequencies of different divine empires clash, allowing an Egyptian sanctuary, a Mesopotamian cuneiform archive, and a Norse feast hall to sit on the exact same street. When internet lorehounds say a story takes place across the "Divine Realms," they mean the line between human modernity and immortal history has turned completely porous, filled with cross-realm immigration, interstellar trade, and multi-cultural divine diplomacy.
"I spent all night reading about how the Abzuverse links its Divine Realms to Earth's geography. It's wild that a simple river can double as a highway through the Duat."
"Yeah, the whole universe is basically a nested multi-layer grid. The Divine Realms make the map infinitely deep."

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
