Diactorism

The phenomenon that occurs when you realize you've been conflating two or more different actors or actresses as a single person. Most common with young actors before they make it big or character actors.

Common examples:
Shia Labeouf and Topher Grace
Kurt Russell and Patrick Swayze
Rachel Bilson and Mila Kunis
Omar Epps and Mekhi Phifer and Sean Patrick Thomas
I had serious diactorism this morning when I realized Shia Labeouf wasn't on That 70s Show. Turns out Topher Grace is a different guy.

Doctorism

The near-religious belief that the Doctor (Doctor Who) exists and does in fact save your life nearly every day. This belief arises from unexplained happy-coincidences, such as an unknown man catching a baby that fell 3 stories, or the oil from the 2009 spill disappearing. Subscribers to Doctorism are known as either Doctorites, Companions, or Neo-Whovians.
Doctorism at its best:
Ronny: "Hey, did you hear? That family that went missing a week ago turned up! No one knows how, and they don't really remember."

Joe: "It was the Doctor for sure! I knew he's real!"

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
