Credibility

You're presupposing that the non-dei people are working harder.
Hym "Your credibility is literally the only you care about. You literally have hours of lectures devoted to how important it is to you. This wasn't about you initially and when it became about you, you cried like a little bitch and tried to kill yourself. And then you came back, realized I wasn't dead, and the cried some more. This isn't some moral calculus your doing here. This isn't your virtue being punished. This isn't you defending the zeitgeist. This is you taking revenge on a dissident in the form of his own self-described Truman-Show esque hell. Except IT WAS ALREADY HAPPENING. So you're helping them cover it up. That's all this is. And you railing against the institutions is your own hypocrisy manifest."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
