The name North Korea plans to christen its locally developed Covid-19 single-shot vaccine, which can be kept at regular refrigerated temperatures—it has allegedly been shown to be 91% effective in a Phase 3 trial involving no less than a quarter million human guinea pigs.

A spokesperson from the Pyongyang Medical University told the media that millions of free doses of Covikim would be shipped to friendly nations like Iran, Syria, and Mozambique as part of the country’s “vaccine diplomacy.”
