A Cooper Swooper is a guy who targets his friend's former girlfriends. He waits for them to break up. Then, he moves in fast to date them. He breaks unwritten friend codes.

Definition:
A dishonest, insecure man who intentionally befriends his homies' girlfriends or ex-girlfriends under the guise of being a supportive, harmless friend, only to subtly sabotage the relationship and ask the girl out himself.
Driven by deep loneliness and a complete lack of game, the Cooper Swooper operates as an emotional vulture. He listens to the girlfriend's relationship complaints, talks trash behind his friend's back to plant seeds of doubt, and waits for a rough patch or breakup to make his desperate move. He violates every rule of the bro code while pretending to just be "a really good listener."
