Conspiracy Theories

Anything you are sufficiently uneducated about but form an opinion on anyway.
Conspiracy theories are dumb and you're dumb

Hard Problem of Conspiracy Theories

The paradoxical chasm between the social-psychological explanation for why people believe in conspiracies (needing control, pattern-seeking, tribal identity) and the epistemic possibility that some of them could, in principle, be true. The problem is that the very tools we use to debunk false conspiracies (pointing out logistical improbability, lack of evidence, or psychological motives) cannot definitively prove a conspiracy doesn't exist, because a truly successful one would, by design, hide its evidence. This creates an unfalsifiable standoff where rationality feels powerless, and belief becomes a matter of faith in either institutional honesty or institutional omnipotence.
Example: "We laughed at the moon landing hoax theory, citing the sheer number of people needed to stay silent. But the hard problem of conspiracy theories hit when my friend said, 'A perfect conspiracy would look exactly like a perfect truth.' I had no logical reply, just a sudden, cold feeling that evidence itself might be a prank played by a universe with good op-sec."

Conspiracy Theorists

Conspiracy Theorists are large groups of underachievers who talk about unrealistic huge world-wide conspiracies, that apparently no one is aware of, except some angry kids and man-children in front of their keyboards.
Essentially, it's a way for them to feel smarter than the establishment and thus it alleviates their feelings of inferiority.
Conspiracy Theorists: "Dude you realize even Tila Tequila exposed the flat earth conspiracy theory?"

Sane Person: "She also thinks she is a clone, right?"

Conspiracy Theorists: "Holy Shit! Even more Illuminati lies exposed."

Sane Person:*Sigh*

Conspiracy Theorist

A person who believes that he holds the "absolute truth" and all those around who disagree with him are either naive , oblivious to the "truth" or just bought off by the clandestine organizations who pull the "strings of humanity" and manipulate events in order to achieve word domination. Such beliefs along with the feeling of persecutions could be linked to paranoia and various forms of delusion. Critical thinking should not be confused with consiracy theorism since the supreme majority of the conspiracists believe many things that are pure fiction and are more than willing to eat up everything that fits their story, even when that's debunked.
- A typical conspiracy theorist is characterized by belief in chemtrails, New World Order domination, Illuminati, zionists, freemasons and other "secret" organizations, denial of the 9/11 attacks, moonlanding, climate change and many a more.

Conspiracy Theorist

Deluded person who falls for every satire article and hoax video on the internet and re-posts (usually without even reading or viewing the content themselves) it on Facebook in the belief that they are saving the world by doing so.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

Salad Days

green inexperienced youthful judgement and cold blooded execution of those judgements.

Rashness with little concern of consequence.

When I was green in judgment, cold in blood."
