Connied

Share definition Flag
When you're a lightweight when it comes to alcohol and after knowing that you've been drinking, you think that you are more drunk than you actually are.

When you think or put on an act to show how drunk, or not drunk, you actually are and often can annoy your friends.
Example 1:
Girl 1: Have you seen Sara?
Girl 2: Yeah, she's absolutely Connied!
Girl 1: I know!

Girl 2: Bit annoying really, only had on Bacardi Breezer and a can of Fosters.

Example 2:
A girl that has only had, for instance, one can of beer and one Smirnoff Ice and she's already rolling around on the floor, and her friends are becoming annoyed.

Libbies and Connies

Short for Liberals and Conservatives. A Libby is a derogatory term for someone who preaches non stop about social issues without having a clue what they are talking about. A Connie, on the other hand, is an insulting term for someone whose head is still up BushSr./Reagan/Nixon/W's buttcrack.
Gary: It's not right that we are able to eat this food when there are still poor children starving in Third World countries!
Lisa: Oh spare me, you fucking Libby

Janine: Dear God, you have George W. Bush's picture framed above your bed?! I never knew you were such a Connie!

Random Hippy: Can't the Libbies and Connies all just get along?

Connie

Share definition Flag
A kind, sweet, beautiful girl who is also surprisingly outgoing yet lacks self esteem. She loves to hang out and has a personality to die for. Meeting a Connie results in love at first sight for most people, and Connie's are usually asked out on a regular basis. Many other girls are generally jealous of a Connie. Connie's also have great bodies and are usually super hot. Most guys are jealous of the boyfriend of a Connie. Most of the time guys that Connie's dates turn out to be regrettable. Usually, it is said that a Connie will tell her best friends that she would have rather dated the guys she rejected than the ones she actually dated. Connie's are very thoughtful people and if you have one, never let go because you've got a treasure unlike any other!!
Guy 1 -Damn! Did you see that chick? Shes so hot!
Guy 2 -Yea! dude shes all mine.
Guy 1 -You're nuts she'd never date you!
Guy 2 -WTF man I thought we were on a team here!

Guy- Connie, I love you.
Connie- I love you too (realizes later that that guy was totally bullsh*ting her.)

12 step recovery jargon referring to someone new who talks about how great life is, now that they're sober. Usually meaning that the person is out of touch with reality.
The new guy seems pretty happy for a dude who has no job, no money and no family. He must be on a pink cloud.

Striver

Share definition Flag
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.

The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
Anthony was a striver. He transfered from a TTT to an IVY and graduated in 2 years. He studied his ass off and went to Penn Law. He got a Biglaw offer. But lost it all because of an unmoderated mesasgeboard.

Successful strivers:
- Barack Obama
- Harold Koh

SkyPesos

Delta SkyMiles, also known as SkyPesos, is the frequent flyer program of Delta Airlines. It has a very poor value and hard to use.
- I'm trying to book an award flight to Paris, but I only have 70,000 SkyPesos
- Just forget about it, you don't have enough SkyPesos to fly anywhere.
