A female deity
associated with weeping willows. Willow roots seek the underground streams that flow to and from the earth’s oceans. To create a crysalice, much like the willow roots, you must first force the victim to surrender completely to the deep watery world of their subconscious. The soul must then be captured as an offering to the tree. Unbeknown to the victim, their souls are contained within the willows, they
communicate by whispering through the leaves
in the wind. In folklore, a crysalice has the ability to transcend time and ‘switch’ - at the price of eternal grieving.
