A melodic epiphany brought about by having a superior sound set up than ones wife who may or may not have a superior sound stage, although in no way appreciates the harmonic detail of clear baselines and vibrant mid-tones. A Harman Kardon system would be wasted on her for example.

"Choons" is the word "Tunes" in a British accent, to say a "choon" is "massive" means that you hold the song in high regard.

"Aye, these are some massive choons mate." Or, "Huuuge choon bruv."

choonstorm 

Noun used by trance/electronica junkies.

It is a metaphor for the "storm" of adrenaline caused when a DJ plays a string of consecutive uplifting, energetic trance anthems in a short space of time, leaving the listener in a dazed mental state as they struggle to cope with the sheer power of the hooklines.

Mainly applies to superclub trance DJs such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Paul van Dyk.
